This website is titled "What is your life?" because all of us have probably asked this same question to ourselves at some point. We want to know why we are on this earth and what purpose we have in being here. These questions are intrinsic to all human beings.
If you are feeling down or depressed or feeling like your life has no purpose, then you are not alone. Many of us feel that way at times or maybe many times or maybe it has become a way of life for you. In fact, the one writing this went through many years of feeling that my life had no purpose and I was not valuable to anyone.
Hange in there with us, and our hope is to give you a renewed sense of purpose in your life. It is true, within the span of eternity, that our life here on earth amounts to "a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes." One day all of us will die a physical death but our spiritual life (our soul) will continue for eternity, either in heaven or hell, depending on how we live our life on this earth.
The question, "What is your life?", is meant to spur you on to thinking who you are living for and why, what is my purpose in life and why, where will I spend eternity and what decisions do I need to make in order to get on the road that will lead me to eternal life with God in heaven.
God has created all of us for the purpose of finding Him and following His son, Jesus Christ (Acts 17:24). The bible says we are separated from God because of our sin and deserve eternal death in hell. The GOOD NEWS is that Jesus Christ came down to this earth to die for us and to shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sins so we can live a new life on this earth (to be born again) and have the hope of eternal life in heaven with Him!
This is the truth of the gospel!
Your are extremely valuable and loved by God, and your purpose is to serve others as you serve God, using the gifts and talents He has blessed you with.
